Obviously they think you've got the stuff or they wouldn't have asked you to put your garden on display. Sounds like you'll have all kinds of plants nobody else has. And the only way to be bug and disease free is to spray all kinds of stuff that isn't worth it. You can proclaim your garden "organic" or "sustainable" or something.Jasonhttp://gardeninacity.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7152931393171647425.post-59769484046017591692013-06-16T06:20:16.250-07:002013-06-16T06:20:16.250-07:00Green background...maybe my new mantra...Green background...maybe my new mantra...Rachellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00275379577689130061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7152931393171647425.post-53439431164925500812013-06-16T06:18:52.014-07:002013-06-16T06:18:52.014-07:00Yes, I think winter is behind us. I took it as a cutting of my dear S-I-L's (mother of the Gardening Twins and Baby Boo).Rachellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00275379577689130061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7152931393171647425.post-87257483960389124262013-06-16T06:15:27.691-07:002013-06-16T06:15:27.691-07:00LMAO, Jason. It's like a gardening final exam for me. Can you tell I'm stressing it? Part of it is, I think,is that I profess to know what I'm doing, but don't have any "credentials" at all. I see sawfly, black spot, and strange beetles everywhere...my OC is kicking it...Rachellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00275379577689130061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7152931393171647425.post-2134665723439598912013-06-15T14:11:59.884-07:002013-06-15T14:11:59.884-07:00Oh, stop it. Your trumpet honeysuckle, in particular, looks fantastic. I even like your hostas, and I don't like hostas. Go have a beer and look at the pictures again.Jasonhttp://gardeninacity.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7152931393171647425.post-83243309262511205622013-06-15T08:12:46.161-07:002013-06-15T08:12:46.161-07:00But, all I could think was 'Wow looks like a f...But, all I could think was 'Wow looks like a full recovery from that dreadful endless winter!' The honeysuckle or ? orange/peach vine is romantic and lush, and I can see I need more hostas... linniewhttp://linniew.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7152931393171647425.post-44776690595132510192013-06-15T07:27:51.979-07:002013-06-15T07:27:51.979-07:00I think your garden looks amazing! You have great foliage plants in your garden, which to me does it all. I'm not a person who likes overkill on blooms all at once. Your garden looks lush and has a really nice balance of flowers and colored foliage on a green background.spurgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02576503805188297240noreply@blogger.com
