Midwest Renewable Energy Fair
The road to sustainability is not a garden path...
The Midwest Renewable Energy Fair is this weekend, June 15 - 17, 2012. Lots of great topics for organic gardeners, those who want to cut their carbon footprint, or learn about the latest in renewable energy or energy efficiency.
The fair takes place just a couple miles down the road from the family garden. My sister-in-law and brother have asked me to watch the boys and or garden with them on Saturday so they may attend. I will probably run up and check out some of the offerings on Friday after summer school.
If you are in the area, or even the state, or the next one over, you may want to make the time to check out this event.

North American blogs on renewable energy really make me realise how behind the UK are in terms of reaching the public. We have a thriving eco community but not of the same scale as you guys on that side of the pond. I really wish our local governments would focus on familiarising and pressing the people on the spectrum of renewable energy systems .
