ReplyDeleteI ran into my neighbor, Darrel Apps, at the fair and he agreed with you, that judging should be done by fair-goers by sampling and consensus. However, in the decorated cake category entrants are allowed to use a form rather than an actual cake. Most likely, these cakes are fakes!
