This time of year it is important to see that first bit of green. Inspired, I took some cuttings of some of my fuchsia and coleus yesterday. These seedlings are some of the annual flowers I have decided on this year.
It seems seed I collect myself always germinates the best. The above are from a deep pink veined petunia which was my favorite last year (seen here in the back). I'm sure it will be something a bit different, but hopefully its parents weren't the black sheep of the petunia family. The petunia 'Berry Velour', fancy pelleted seed I bought are yet to germinate. |
