First Seedlings

This time of year it is important to see that first bit of green. Inspired, I took some cuttings of some of my fuchsia and coleus yesterday. These seedlings are some of the annual flowers I have decided on this year.

It seems seed I collect myself always germinates the best.
The above are from a deep pink veined petunia which was my favorite last year
(seen here in the back).
I'm sure it will be something a bit different,
but hopefully its parents weren't the black sheep of the petunia family.
The petunia 'Berry Velour', fancy pelleted seed I bought are yet to germinate.
